Bilingual Sales Development Representative

Syneron is a leading and rapidly growing medical laser company involved in the design, development, and marketing of aesthetic medical devices to physicians and other practitioners worldwide. The company’s products are used for hair removal, wrinkle reduction, skin rejuvenation, and cellulite reduction.

We are currently searching for Bilingual (English-French) and Unilingual (English) Sales Development Representatives (SDR), assigned to our West, East, Central and Canada regions in North America, for our Inside Sales department.  This is a great opportunity for a high-achiever with enthusiasm, drive, and the desire to be part of a great team!

THE JOB:

Reporting to the VP Operations, the Sales Development Rep will be responsible for finding new qualified leads (and/or qualifying inbound leads) and passing them to the field sales organization. This will be accomplished through ongoing outbound call campaigns. Inbound leads come from a variety of sources including inbound calls, e-mails and/or web. The Sales Development Rep will be required to be familiar with Syneron’s strategic objectives as well as core products/solutions in support of direct call campaigns for lead generation and qualification as well as promotional events and seminars. In conjunction with the VP Ops works proactively with marketing to refine and make adjustments to call campaigns. The Sales Development Rep will provide VP Operations with daily/weekly feedback on campaign results. 

MAIN DUTIES:

•Prospect for, develop and/or qualify leads;
•Perform outbound cold calling to generate leads and/or gain commitment for attending Syneron workshops/seminars;
•Rate leads per established criteria and using the CRM solution will pass off to field sales reps as appropriate;
•Responsible for building sales pipeline by meeting and exceeding lead generation and/or workshop attendance quotas;
•Create and maintain a database of contacts of current and future customers;
• Provide follow up on demand generation activities;
•Establish account presence and build trust with key contacts;
•Analyze customer needs in terms of current business obstacles, identifying opportunities and scoping potential Syneron products;
•Present and articulate legacy and emerging product features, benefits;
•Integrate with both inside and field sales reps to maximize prospect potential;
•Uses Syneron’s CRM to track all call and sales activities, and ensure this is accurate and updated at any given time.

THE REQUIREMENTS:
•Completely fluent in English both verbal and written, with exceptionally strong and clear verbal communications skills
•For the bilingual: Completely fluent in English and FRENCH, both verbal and written, with exceptionally strong and clear verbal communications skills (for Canada region only)
•University degree or equivalent work experience
•2-3 years in lead qualification or outbound sales  position, healthcare industry a plus
•Energetic, upbeat, tenacious team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Excellent written skills, oral skills, phone skills;
•Demonstrated track record at achieving measurable goals in a highly automated environment;
•Outstanding relationship building skills with a high degree of responsiveness and integrity;
•Proficiency with standard corporate productivity tools (email, vmail, MS Office Suite), and Syneron’s customer contact system (Salesforce.com).
•Experience in a company where outbound telephone sales training has been given a plus;
•Prior objection handling experience in early markets;
•Contributed to the overall success of the Sales Team;
•Have met or exceeded personal/team goals and quota;
•Advanced level prospecting and qualification experience;
•Able to learn and understand product solutions and features;
•Strong needs analysis, positioning and qualification skills;
•Desires to be in sales as their career.
•Excellent teamwork and feedback are critical.

THE WORKING CONDITIONS:

•Based at our Canadian Office in Richmond Hill, Ontario
•Regular business hours are based on region’s time zone (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. or 10:00 am to 6:00 pm) Monday to Friday.
•Because of the nature of Syneron’s activities and requirements, additional hours of work may be required from time to time and incumbent in this position is expected to provide this time in support of his/her responsibilities.
