Forbes.com (5,000,000 impressions) features a story from the ASAPS research released Monday on the decline of cosmetic procedures in 2008. The article states that nonsurgical treatments have seen the most growth, mostly driven by Botox. Dr. John Shieh is quoted throughout the article on what he has noticed in his business. The article states that liposuction procedures are down as the result of less invasive fat-removal procedures such as LipoLite. Dr. Shieh is quoted to say “We saw a record business in August because of it.
