The Aesthetic Practitioner News website posted an overview of two VelaShape studies done by Dr. Lori Brightman, M.D., of the Laser & Skin Surgery Center of New York.

The studies were presented at the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery annual meeting.  In one study, 17 women were treated for sagging upper arm skin, while the second study tested sagging abdominal and flank skin in 11 post-partum women, both over a period of four months (1 month for treatment, and 3 months post-treatment evaluation).

Overall, the study concluded that appropriately selected candidates continued to show reductions in circumference three months after the final treatment.
